No Singingarc :(

In other news, it looks like Frogg and I won't be playing in Vegas on March 1st after all :( There simply wasn't enough advanced ticket sales and sponsorship for the large 11 hour event that was going to feature 11 different musicians. Well, dang! I'll have to go to Vegas another time, I guess. That's okay :) Although I was really looking forward to playing live to real people standing in front of me once more, as we get to do it so rarely these days.

Still doing a lot of Second Life shows though, so that's really cool! I enjoy playing there so much... Such an amazing audience, and such wonderful compliments. I kind of get a swelled head sometimes hehe...

In other news, I went all nostalgic and bought some land in the Hantu sim; the same exact land (for the most part) that I used to own two years ago with my sister. I still had most of the old things that were on the land, and basically recreated my park that had been there before. It's very cool to see it again, and a nice addition to the landscape :)

Together at last :)

Okay, at the risk of making this a Jaycatt/Hunter status blog (hehe) I have to write now, because I'm too excited not to report on it. :D

Hunter asked me to marry him, well, as much as is possible. And I said YES wholeheartedly!! He visited last weekend, and brought rings. I am wearing mine now (it needed a little resizing but now fits perfectly). Our date for having him move up to finally be home for good is now Saturday, February 9th. I'm pretty ecstatic about the whole thing! He's visited twice, and it feels like home to him, here in Eugene. And you know, when he is here, it feels more like home to me too, and not just a place to live. My partner, my mate, and I, finally together.

Anyway, sorry for being all mushy, but it's a big piece of news I just had to share!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2008 everyone :) Boy, it's been a great year. Even reading back through this blog, I've had quite a whirlwind of changes in my life.

Hunter got to visit me up in Oregon, and see where he will be living later this year. We had the most fun ever, as usual, and I was very sad to see him go, to the point of sobbing in the car on the way back from the airport. I love him and care very deeply for him, and we both hate to be apart. We've upped the schedule a bit, and now he's planning on moving in come June! That gives him time to pay bills, help his parents with their shop, and organize his apartment before driving up.

We have such wonderful future plans together, it just makes me so excited to think of them. I never realized how much was missing from my life by being alone, until I discovered the joy of another's close company. I highly recommend it! :D

I don't have a lot of other news, really, except that at the end of January I'll be traveling with my father to Canada once again, to enjoy the cold windy weather they have, and relax with some good food and wine. It's a great trip to unwind, and I love spending time with my Dad. We're not doing a full week this time, just the four days or so at the Lodge (which I've posted about previously, last January). I'm looking forward to visiting with my Dad, who I don't get to see much anymore due to my hectic schedule with music and chatting ;)

Hope you all had a wonderful new year's!
